Takers (2010)

My girl put me onto this flick not even 30 minutes ago and I was all over it lol … Takers looks to be your typical action / bank heist movie. Nothing special, nothing outrageous or crazy. Seems like it would be dope but what sets it apart from its predecessors,  is its CASTING. Women will flock to this movie like it was the latest romantic comedy. WHY? Check out the line up: Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Michael Ealy, Jay Hernandez, T.I., Chris Brown and Hayden Christiansen. WHOA, people. This flick will bring the men for the action and the women for the wet panty fest. Whomever the CSA is on this movie, I salute you and I thank you.

Tentatively scheduled for a February 19, 2010 release Takers follows a group of bank robbers who find their $20 million plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective.

There’s nothing particularly wrong with Takers, but very little that’s right. It may not be the best film I have ever seen, but the thrills are good, and the film was very fun at points. Good review, check out mine when you can!
