For anyone close to me you guys KNOW how much I love this track. It’s BEAUTIFUL and I think everyone can relate to it if they’ve ever been through it in a relationship. Ms. Hathaway’s voice is the thing dreams are made of. The video was released yesterday, tho I just peeped it a few minutes ago. I’m in complete and utter love. PLEASE enjoy.
If you are having a hard time buying for that special someone on your list … or even just a SOMEONE then fear no more. I usually find it extremely hard to buy for my mother. She’ll usually give me the “Oh you don’t have to get me a thing, baby” speech but when I dig and pester enough, there are always a few things she’d LIKE to have. I wish she was easier to buy for. It’s not because she’s picky or ungrateful. She’s just the opposite. If I got my mom a bag of soil she’d smile delightedly and state she could plant flowers in the Spring even though gardening isn’t her thing and never has been. She’s just happy and grateful for anything and it’s this fact that makes her so hard to buy for. I always want to get her something she will ACTUALLY like and find useful. Not something for the house but for HER and other than the usual perfume, CD’s or robes and pajamas staples, she rarely lists off things for herself. I was perusing the web and there was a great site I came across for the Top Gifts of 2009. Have a look! We’re getting down to the wire, folk. Only 5 1/2 days left! Personally I’m completely enchanted by the Kindle reading device. It’s pricey as all hell but it’s something I’m thinking of buying for myself. This site has everything from shopping for newborns and toddlers to the avid reader and gamer. There’s something for everyone!
These are THE worst kinds of allegations to harm any celebs career (paging Pleasure P). I’m thoroughly disgusted of course but all the same I’m interested to know why its taken the alleged victim 15 years to come forward. I’ll have my eye on this story as it unfolds. I’m a huge fan of Shane’s work … this is depressing.
Los Angeles police arrested “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge Shane Sparks (born Melvin Shane Sparks), Friday morning (December 18) on a felony warrant and charged him with eight counts of felony child molestation. He is being held on $590,000 bail.
According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Sparks, 40, was taken into custody at around 8 a.m. PT on Friday on a felony warrant charging him with molestation that began in 1993 and allegedly continued until 1997.
Sparks, whose age was listed as 40 in the arrest warrant, was charged with six felony counts of committing a lewd act on a child, identified by her first name and last initial as being under the age of 14, “with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions and sexual desires of the said defendant and the said child.” The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between July 1, 1994 and August 1, 1994, December 1, 1994 and August 3, 1995, August 4, 1995 and April 30, 1997 and April 4, 1995 and April 30, 1997.
He was also charged with two counts of oral copulation of a person under the age of 16 by someone over the age of 21 for incidents that allegedly occurred between April 4, 1995 and April 30, 1997 and August 4, 1995 and April 30, 1997.
KTTV Fox News 11 in Los Angeles reported that the victim was one of Sparks’ dance students at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.
MTV had no comment on the arrest, and a rep for Sparks told MTV News that no comment was available at press time.
Cincinnati-born Sparks has worked with Brandy, Aaliyah, Monica and Lindsay Lohan and was nominated for an Emmy for his choreography on “So You Think You Can Dance.”

I finally took in the entire album (after it leaked last week) and I’m quite impressed. It’s only natural that both his and Rihanna’s albums are compared given their ’situation’. I feel her album sucks. I feel his doesn’t. That’s all I’m going to compare. I have no time for the foo foo mix up. It’s in the past. We can move on. But … as usual there is always a stand out track on an album that sweets me THE second I hear it. The track that did this on Graffiti is “Take My Time” ft. Tank. If you havent heard it … here:

I honestly think the video is uber sexy. Some people are saying its trashy but I dont agree. Then again, I’m a heterosexual woman that HIGHLY appreciates the female form.
