Looking as gorgeous as she wants to be, Beyonce Knowles is featured on the cover of the April issue of Vogue magazine. I think it’s a great move by Vogue seeing as how this is their annual “shape issue” and we all know Beyonce has that enviable shape. Beyonce opens up about weight and body issues in this month’s magazine. Vogue seems to be heading into new territory on two levels. One being this is the 2nd black woman to be featured on its cover in as many months and second, of course, putting a woman with a “normal” body shape on it’s cover. Kudos on both fronts! And, April is shaping up to be a good month for B. Her new movie, Obsessed, starring Idris Elba and Ali Larter hits theatres April 24.
Beyonce is one of my favourite celebrities ever! I admire her for her great perfomances and for an image of a strong and independent woman that she has. I see her as a great example for young ladies all over the world. She is talented, hard-working, independent, self- confident, beautiful and absolutely “normal”!!!
