Wow, it’s finally here and available for you to download ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! But first a little background on the project…
This mix is inspired by the work of legendary New York mixtape DJ’s G-BO THE PRO AND DOUBLE R, with special thanks to our homie DJ NEIL ARMSTRONG for putting us up on game. Awhile back Royale showed me G-Bo the Pro and Double R #21. It was an instant hit recieving HEAVY rotation in the car. Roy then suggested the idea that we re-do the tape, a cover per se, adding our own Grand Groove touches throughout. Covering a mixtape, who does that!? So that’s what we did! We re did the B Side of the tape and flipped the cover too (thanks to Committee Design). While we kept a lot of the original tracklisting we also included some of our own personal favourites and original blends that we felt would fit in the mix. Woman Calls 911 On McD’s
Police were not buying Latreasa L. Goodman’s definition of emergency after she called 911 three times to report that her local McDonald’s was out of chicken nuggets. Goodman had paid for her 10-piece McNuggets but was then informed by the employees that the restaurant had run out. Goodman claims she was refused a refund and felt it rose to the level of a 911 emergency. Police have charged Goodman with misusing 911.
My thoughts? As dramatic as the story originally SEEMED, after reading and thinking about it, the woman was right to call 911! Was someone dying or hurt? No. But there was a crime being committed? Yes! Yea, that’s right. She was being robbed! lol. How you gonna charge someone for a meal, not have the product and then turn around and not issue a refund!? WTF!? First, McD’s makes the news because they don’t want to pay the doctor bills of an employee that was shot while on the job being a Good Samaritan and now they don’t want to give refunds for items they are out of stock on? What is this world coming to? I know times are hard for everyone, but McDonald’s needs to calm the heck down. SHEESH!
